GC Renewal
Just sharing my experience especially for those who are unsure about the actual process. I live in NY and the process might be faster or longer depending on the state you live in. My GC was already expired about 6 months prior to filing a renewal.

11/20 Filed an I-90 Application online. Received the receipt notice email.

11/23 I received an email that an appointment has been scheduled. The schedule was still not available on my USCIS online account at this time. It usually takes a few days.

11/25 I received the receipt notice in the mail and my biometrics appointment date was now available online.

11/29 I received the appointment letter in the mail.

12/09 Biometrics Appointment @3pm. They required me to bring my Appointment letter and GC, a valid photo ID (passport, driver's license, state-issued photo ID or any government-issued document and Change of Information (Only if you had a name change). I went in half an hour early and I was the only one too so the whole process didn't even take 5 minutes. The guy ask for my appointment letter and green card, then took my picture and scanned my finger prints. After that, he put a sticker on the back of my expired card extending it for a year until I get my new green card in the mail.

12/13 I got an email that they already produced my new GC and that they're completing their final quality review. So I might get it sometime next week.
