J-1 transfer
Hello everyone!
I currently have a j-1 visa valid for three years and not subject to the two year rule. I have been working as a research cholar at the University of Michigan State and am now looking to transfer to an academy to conduct the same type of work but the company in question does not have a j-1 program and therefore cannot issue a new DS 2019 form. I am looking for an independent agency or organization able to play this part and issue a DS 2019 form in agreement with the employer willing to have me.
All the company I have reached only issue j-1 for camp counselor while I need a research scholar or professor type of status.
I would greatrly appreciate any name you can throw out there to help me with my problem.
