Going to India for H1B stamping
Hi,
I am going to India next month for my H1B stamping i do not have a valid visa stamp on my current passport as my passport was stolen and i had to get a new one. I am confused as to whether i need a transit visa or not. I am flying from Kansas city, MO to Paris, France (2 hour lay-over) and continuing on to Mumbai, India.
Also on my return trip i have a lay-over in Amsterdam continuing on to Kansas city so do i need a transit visa for that trip?
Anyone please help, i called the airlines but they sounded confused too.
