Replace Green Card Tracker

I applied and paid my $450 on July 30th 2013. Had Biometrics appt 8/22/13. The lady there told me it would only be about a 3 month wait. Got a new job (which is why I had applied for the green card) and had a 90-day waiver (due to reciept) so I was allowed to work. 3 months pass and no word. Work thankfully keeps me on, even without proof of employment (I have a SSN, licence, etc) After a long enough wait, I think about 6 months, I was allowed to "protest" my application due to wait time. About 3 weeks later, I receive a very generic letter basically saying "Due to circumstances not relating to your situation, please allow another 6 months from date of this letter". This was dated 2/28/14. All my hope was lost and I became very infuriated at slow process. Just this month, about 4/6/14, I got an update (text service notification) saying I was approved. Everything has moved fast since this date, and I'm expecting to receive actual card on 4/12/14. Even have USPS tracking!
