We made it home!!!!!!!!!!!
IF YOU GOT YOUR AP APPROVED, TAKE ADVANTAGE & USE IT!!!! I’m a US citizen my husband received his AP approval by mail on 1/25/2017, however with Trump taking over, and everything you hear on the news and family members making negative comments he was scared to Travel. Thankfully we found this website. I showed him all the success stories and he was determined to travel. We were in Mexico City from 2/11/2017 returned 2/16/2017. We flew from Mexico City to Sacramento Int Airport, the return was smooth. We waited in line for about 20 minutes, my husband looked relaxed, but he did admit that deep down inside he was terrified. When the office called us up she (Asian officer) looked at my Passport and my sons. Then at my husbands and looked at the AP forms, she just asked him how many days we were in Mexico and he responded six, she took a picture of him and his fingerprints. Then she told us to pick up our luggage and that the next office would stamp his documents. The second officer just asked him how he was adjusting his status, my husband responded DACA, the officer stamped his passport and AP forms, the office kept one of the AP forms for their records and told us to have a good night. My husband was super excited that we made it home safe and most importantly that he was let back in without any issues. Don’t stress and enjoy your trip. Good look to all of you!!!! And like I said take advantage of this opportunity ?

IM BACKKKK!!
Hey guys.. just like many of us I was scared to travel under the circumstances! But I really need anted to take the risk and hug my grandma since my grandpa recently passed away. I knew it will do her good since of everything she is going through! I haven't been to my hometown in 20 years and I don't have memories of it since I was little when I came here! I left last Wednesday from Chicago Ohare... I did a short trip! I was only there for 4 and 1/2 days.. I met all my family members but specially hugged my grandma! It was a dream come true!!!
I came back today at 12 and it went really smooth.. seems that the officers are getting more familiar with AP..
The first officer legit only asked me like 2 questions and passed me to the second room.. the second officer only asked me for my date of birth and that was all. I was on my way to hug my boyfriend and mother.
Honestly I wouldn't have been able to do it without God by my side and my faith. It was a short trip but it was SOOOOOOOO WORTH IT! I got to see my grandma and that is what matters to me the most :)

Nervous, Cannot decide to go or not....
hey guys, i just received my advance parole last Friday and i have from February 15th to April 15th to travel to Mexico. i had decided not to do it anymore after Trump became president, but after reading your great experiences im changing my mind and thinking maybe i should go..... i have 2 babies, my husband is a citizen but im so scared to not be able to come back and not be able to see my babies.... also do any of you know which state is the easiest to come back thru? im planing on flying and i will land at whatever state seems nicer lol, if that's even true? another question i have is my DACA expires June 2017, does that affect me traveling? i have mailed out my renewal out today. or it shouldn't matter because its not expired yet? im planning on going from March 1st to the 9th come back on my birthday maybe theyll have mercy on me hahaha. Please help with any advice as im still trying to make up my mind.....thank you sooo much!!!!!

Made it back Home !
Hey guys here is my Safe Flight Back home update sorry i hadn't post it but i've been working since I got back Monday!!!

Monday Feb. 13 Left DF Airport at 2:09pm
And arrived at Dallas International Airport in Texas at 4:55pm with a 3 hour layover so that I would have enough time to go through cbp
And pickup and recheck my bag
And catch my 8:00pm flight to RDU North Carolina.

Here is the Cbp story:
Got in the Non-Citizens Line, proceeded to the line where an Asian woman was, I greeted her and got no response, yet I remained calm. Probably more than most, She took my fingerprints, Picture, and took my
Mexico Passport, Advance Parole Papers and took me over to the waiting room where
There were about 10 people.
I could sense the tension and the Anxiety of everyone in there. There was a lady with two little girls,
A spouse and a wife (she was a citizen)
A lady by herself, an asian man , another asian man on his phone very calm. ,
A mother and her 20 something daughter,
Later two men arrived with tejanas on,
And an older lady that sat beside me.
I immediately noticed that there wasn't going to be an interview and all we had to wait for was the stamps on the Advance Parole papers.
It took 35 minutes to hear my last name,
I received my passport and one paper back stamped by them.
Said 'Thank you' and left .
It was very easy, they were nice and didn't give mean looks.
I then proceeded to pick up checked bag (which after that I suggested not having a checked bag, it's such a hassle)
Had my lunch at McDonald's because why not I was back in the states !
Texted my fam told them how everything went.
Boarded my plane and landed safely home on Valentines day and was greeted warmly by my husband and two daughters that had bought me balloons and roses. So sweet!

Don't stress too much guys, have fun in your trip and God first everything will be okay :)

Finally home !
I was so nervous guys!! But I am finally back home. Just letting you guys know immigration customs did tell me not to travel anymore with the DACA permits because it's getting dangerous . If you do travel make sure you have both copies for immigration here. The airport at Guatemala kept one of my copies and they made a deal out of it but thank god they let me back in. !!!!!!!!! I only went for 4 days .
