Interview 01/2019

Interview for a minor child, did not update medical, the questions were basically simple, approved!!

Denver processing time: 13-22 months

• Married USC: June 14th 2017
• Applied: April 9th 2018
• Receipt received: April 24th 2018
• Biometrics Appointment notice: April 28th 2018
• Biometrics Appointment: May 17th 2018
• Interview ready to be scheduled: July 18th 2018
• Eac/Advance parole card arrived: September 7th 2018
• Interview scheduled notice: November 13th
• Interview date: December 18th
• Green Card Arrived: December 21st

Question: I am currently on a TN visa and recently got married. My husband is in another state due to school. I am stuck in another state due to TN requirements. At this point with rent etc. there is no benefit of me continuing to work while waiting for EAD...Does any one know if I am able to leave TN status and move even though my TN has not expired or will I have to wait for EAD even if my AOS is pending?!

All the help would be greatly appreciated!

My employment based 485 was approved on December 04 and got the WELCOME letter on 8th. But after that, no any online update -- green card yet. Does anyone have such experience? Please help.

I wish to request the following two pieces of information from you if possible, especially Nov, Dec 2018 filers.

1.) Which date was your 485 package received by USCIS?
2.) Which is your "Receipt Date" on the receipt notice.

Your response is greatly appreciated. I've filed my 485 on 12/18/2018 and waiting on my receipt notices. I need to travel to Toronto, CA on 01/07/2019 for something that is urgent (I'm on a H1B visa currently). It has been about two weeks now and my check has not been cashed yet. Do you recommend traveling without the receipt notice?

I am wondering if there are some with the same situation as me. My husband and I, technically we live together, all his addresses are at our apartment, but he is in the Navy and stationed in San Diego so on weekdays he is there rooming with our friend and weekends he goes to LA and we spend our time together. Both our families are here and at the time that I wasn't working, we preferred to stay in LA since family and friends are here and he's usually away. Now that he won't be deployed, we're staying because we're somehow settled in our apartment already and he plans to leave the Navy within 2 years.

Is this going to be a problem for us? We have joint documents and all, he's on the lease, all his addresses are in our apartment. Any opinion and advise would help.

OMG! After 16 months...
I got a phone message from USCIS on December at 3am.
It said they took an action on my case.
After I checked my status, it changed to "The interview was sheduled, we are ready to send you a notice!"

My husband got the interview notice on Dec, 31th at 10 pm, it was great news before counting down to 2019!

Hope my interview will go well this month!

PS: my status was "can't provide you information ..... for quiet a long time", this was tourching matter... I hope whoever has same situation, you can make it through!!!
