Hi everyone. We applied for GC conditions removal i-751 in March 2018. We received notice the Vermont office would take care of it. After 1 year, in March 2019 we received notice that the case was transferred to the Texas office. In november 2019 we received another notice that the case was transferred this time to Missouri office. We haven't heard from them ever since. Tried to check processing time in USCIS website but i-751 is not listed as processed by the Missouri office. Anyone in the same or similar situation? Thanks

I am trying to renew my DL however the DMV is asking for my updated GC. Since I am also needing to renew my 10 year residency, do I have to wait for the actual GC to come in to get my DL, or can I use the application receipt for my GC renewal to get my DL?

Good evening everyone. My two years GC will expire Jin one year.
So I still have time, but I like figure it out the way to process with lot of prior time.
I know I can apply for the remove of the condition 3 months before the expiration.
How long it should take? During the waiting time, in case I will not get my 10 years green card before the expiration date of my actually green card, am I allowed to travel and keep working, or from the day the 2 years card will be expire, I will not be able to work/travel?
Thank you!

Hi Guys,

Need some advice from folks who have gone through the process.

My spouse and my GC is expiring in 5.5 months. It is a 10yr GC. I want to start I-90 application but not certain about the processing time. Since the DL and Job are tied to GC, will the expiry affect either of those? Is renewal a complex process or straight forward? Do they give any temporary card while in process? Any issues in the renewal process?

Part 3, Question 1 on Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, asks about the “location where you applied for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status.” I am not sure what are they asking? Is it the service center or my physical location?

Also, can we start our naturalization process together?

Thanks in advance and I will certainly appreciate your opinions!!

Hi All.

Have my Removal of Conditions due in a month. Curious to know how are the processing times in South Carolina area? My GC was fast as a click, had it in 2 weeks @ Charleston office. So hope this will be fast also. Is anybody in the same area? any answers are welcomed and very much thanked.

Thanks in advance

Hi, my I-751 case delivered on 30th December in Texas office. I submitted G-1145 notification form. How long does does it take to get notification for the case?

I sent my application on august 1st and was delivered to the Phoenix AZ center on august 9th.
I got a NOA on september giving me an extension for 18 months.
Its been 4 months and I have not received my biometrics appointment. Is that normal?

I tried to do a case inquiry, but it says it's still in the normal processing times.

I live in NC.

Just sharing my experience especially for those who are unsure about the actual process. I live in NY and the process might be faster or longer depending on the state you live in. My GC was already expired about 6 months prior to filing a renewal.

11/20 Filed an I-90 Application online. Received the receipt notice email.

11/23 I received an email that an appointment has been scheduled. The schedule was still not available on my USCIS online account at this time. It usually takes a few days.

11/25 I received the receipt notice in the mail and my biometrics appointment date was now available online.

11/29 I received the appointment letter in the mail.

12/09 Biometrics Appointment @3pm. They required me to bring my Appointment letter and GC, a valid photo ID (passport, driver's license, state-issued photo ID or any government-issued document and Change of Information (Only if you had a name change). I went in half an hour early and I was the only one too so the whole process didn't even take 5 minutes. The guy ask for my appointment letter and green card, then took my picture and scanned my finger prints. After that, he put a sticker on the back of my expired card extending it for a year until I get my new green card in the mail.

12/13 I got an email that they already produced my new GC and that they're completing their final quality review. So I might get it sometime next week.
