Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi Everyone,

My husband filed I-130 last year (he was just an LPR). PD: April 5, 2017

Now he became US Citizen, we filed I-485.

Question is:
Will my green card be processed faster? What difference will it take because my I-130 and I-485 wasn't filed concurrently? Please share your experiences.

My i-485 was received march 8 2017
Biometrics appt April 2017, then August 2017, case changed to ready to be scheduled for interview and my EAD was mailed that same day. Then radio silence until June 2018. I accidentally put in the wrong password on my USCIS login and got myself locked out, so I put in a request to unlock it. They called me June 7 2018 to unlock my account. When she was asking me questions, she said "hmm that's odd", which I thought was because they had my former address on file, but not my current address, even though I changed my address about a month after I filed and received mail from them (including confirmation of address change and my EAD) at my current address. Anyway, a week later on June 14, I received a notification that my case status has been updated, my interview was finally scheduled. Now I have received an email every 2 weeks, letting me know that they are still reviewing my case and that there are no further updates. Why all of a sudden am I getting these emails, when I never got them before? Is it possible that my case was put on hold or slipped through the cracks or something? For reference, I have seen posts from several people who's application is through the same field office and are also family based green card, who applied AFTER my case was "ready to be scheduled for interview" and have already completed the entire process. What gives?

Just got my interview notice and it is said that i need a letter from my current employer. If i was out of status for a year and worked as a server but paid my taxes and have W2 . Do i still need that letter? My husband is a self employed and he doesnt need one.

It has been 6 months already since I have received the EAD and there is still no news about the interview. The process at the beginning was pretty fast now it just seems to be stuck. Talked to the lawyer and she said that there is nothing they can do but wait. Should I contact the ombudsman myself ? What would be the reason for the interview schedule to be delayed so much, anyone has any ideas ?

Hello everyone i applied for 1-130 Jan 16,2018 received a receipt 2 weeks after. then filed 1-485 and 1-765 two weeks ago and they have no yet been approved. I got a job offer in a group home and yet i don't have a work permit, i am on F1 visa. If i go for this job will it affect me during interview. Got married to a US citizen in Dec 14 2017. Your advice will be highly appreciated. Am nervous to go for this job i already did an interview. Do they usually check where you have been working during interview? I don't want to be deported for working off campus.

My case states "Biometrics fee received" since August 2017. Has any one from Houston received their interview notice yet? Or does anyone know what dates they are currently processing? I know the website states January 2016, but is that accurate?

My status changed to card was mailed . How long does it get to receive it?
What form do we file out when we go to Social Security office?
Can I take a letter from Social Security office to DMV to Apply for learner permit?
 am trying to save time as much as I can.

Expedited my I-765 ON June 26 Th and card was produced on July 6th. New York filler -Brooklyn :)

Interview was 21months later.
It went well and the next morning I got notification that card is being produced.

Where and when was our last outing
The io was more concerned and impressed with our supporting evidences we came with.
