Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello guys,

So I need suggestions as my case is a mess right now. I been married to USC for over two years and I filed my case in November 2017. I had my bio metrics in December and then two weeks ago I received a letter from USCIS asking for initial evidence. However, currently my spouse and I are having some personal issues. So i have this questions, what if we divorce, how will it affect my case without sending the initial evidence, and also how will it affect my status here (F1 expired).

Have you guys experienced your case status changed to “At this time USCIS cannot provide you with your information for your case”? My case was ready to be scheduled for an interview since January and this morning that msg popped up. Do you think that perhaps it’s a glitch from the system? Please help! I’m nervous now...

Hi my PD is March 17, 2017 (13 months ago) and MYUSCIS website says our case is ready to be scheduled since May 2017 (11 months ago) Do you all know the approximate waiting times or interview dates for Houston using these dates?

Hi everyone!!

So I received an email today from ombudsman saying that a decision has been made on our case.

I did send out the information for an RFE and it was supposed to be there Friday. Does this mean it’s a decision of approval or denial? Is that too fast of a response to an rfe for them does that mean our case was denied?

In the email it says we have to wait 15 days for the decision notice.

I am very nervous.

 Good morning, can someone help me with this information, i applied for my EAD renewal October of last year and was told i didn't need to come in for a new biometrics. But since then i haven't received any reply from USCIS. And their processing times say 2.5 to. 5 months for EADs Based on pending Adjustment of Status. I did a service request and received a reply yesterday that i should expect a reply within 60 days from yesterday april 16. Its been almost 6 months nothing, more than the normal processing time. Can some one tell me if its something wrong or its normal sometimes. Thanks for any reply.

A brief background about my application. My wife is a USC. She was born in the US but moved back to another country when she was 10. Both of us moved to the US after marriage last yr in Sept. My wife is unemployed and my uncle submitted an affidavit of support with our application for AOS.

PD: 12/27/17
Biometric: 01/23/18
RFE: 01/30/18
Notice for interview: 03/13/18
Interview: 04/10/18
EAD approval: 04/10/18
GC Approval Notice: 4/15/18
GC received: 04/17/18

The interview went smooth. The gentleman who took our interview was very friendly. He asked us some basic questions that have already been shared on the forum. He asked for documents with both our names. We submitted our utility bill, checking account statement, house lease and renters insurance. At the end of the interview, the interviewer told us that he has to verify our marriage certificate (issued in my home country) and we should expect good news in 2 weeks. On the same day I received an email update that my EAD card has been approved
I received the GC after a week. There was no update about my I-485 statusonline and it is still stuck at ‘interview scheduled’.

I'm applying in New York, NY for my wife's green card. We have submitted case inquirys through our lawyer but still don't have an update and the online system has never been updated for our case.

Biometrics in July and EAD received in October.

Has anyone with a similar date in NYC received a letter for an interview?

04/18/2017 - Fingerprint fee accepted for I-485
06/19/2017 - Biometrics - New Orleans Office
07/2017 - Change of address, switched to Memphis Office
08/02/2017 - I-756 approved
01/15/2018 - Interview - approved Memphis, TN

Approved at end of the interview but the website still says that my case is ready to be scheduled. Have not received welcome letter or GC. EAD expires in July, debating when to apply for EAD extension for August employment or if GC will come by then.

How long does it take to get the website updated from the interview and GC from Memphis Office?
