I CALLED REMIT2INDIA 10-12 TIMES + SENT E-MAILS AND GOT ASSUREANCE EVERYDAY THAT IT WILL BE RESOLVED WITHING A DAY BUT STILL NO CHANGE IN STATUS. ANY IDEA AS TO WHERE CAN I LOG THE COMPLAINT?

HDFC Quick Remit... worst service....
Hi,

I wanted to send some quick money to india and was looking for way. Someone suggested that QuickRemit is good... But I got **** up royally. As per there schedule it should reach within 3-4 working days. But the money was not deducted from my account for that many days. When I tried to call there phone, I have to hold for 1 hr before someone asnwer it. They have only one operator who supports all the call, her name is Mamta. It's not her fault but the website has not good infomration and guys remember in India bank has 100 holidays and on those days they are not working. SO BETTER USE SOME DIFFERENT CHANNEL. IF YOU WNAT TO SCREW YOURSELF then USE QUICKREMIT FROM HDFC.

Latest remit2india victim
Unfortunately I join the list of people cheated by remit2india. There are cheaters through and through.

REMEMBER: The key thing is the rate they give is the rate the funds "get converted" in India NOT THE RATE ON THE SITE when you book it!

Transaction 1) They took 25 days to credit me. Why? Because the exchange rates moved in my favor - they would have to pay me more.

Transaction 2&3) Credited in 4 days flat. Why? The exchange rates moved against me - they would have to pay me less.

I figured this out by analysis historical movements and keep a record of their posted rates. This may help some people out there to figure their cheating ways out.

Also, they post the rate but will always round down to pay you about 3-4 paise less E.g. If they post 43.99 they will give you 43.95 etc.

*** USE AT YOUR OWN PERIL *** The lure you with the 14 paise more BUT get you in other ways. I'm still trying to figure out who to use. Any advice would be welcome

Don't use Remit2India
Remit2India is cheating a lot of people on the exchange rates. They promised me a high exchange rate, almost on par with RBI, but when the actual conversion happened, I got shortchanged by nearly a rupee per dollar. This has happened to a lot of people, so I'd recommend to stay away from these unethical folks.

Remit2India
Remit2India service run by Times Group is complete fraud. They lure customer with exceptional exchange rate, gifts and quick service. But in reallity then give under market exchange rate, no gifts and deliveries are always late. On complaint they will give silly excuses and ask you try again with different promotional. Please be aware of them and stay away. Spread the word to avoid more remit2India victims.
