Our I-130 is approved!!! After so much stress, worry and tears leaving it in Gods hands is the only the only thing that works. One more approval to go!!!

Hi folks

So I came to US on F1 and married to US citizen on September 2017 my SEVIS expired on December 02 2017
USCIS received my I-485,I-130,I-765 on December 04. And my Biometric is scheduled on December 27 2017
My Biometric is scheduled in NYC where my wife is living and right now I am in California living since one month after my marriage.

So my question is

My drivers license has been expired
I have my passport with me so can I fly from one state to other during this situation .
I don’t have enough time to get their except boarding a flight.

Is there will be any problem during security check at the airport.

Please guide me.

Im gonna be sharing my case. I am really happy, but concerned at the same time because by case went through really fast.
This is a marriage base green-card case, I am filing from Oklahoma City. I filed my case (I-485, I-130, and I-765) last August,my priority date is August 29th, 2017. I got my receipt two weeks after indicating that my case was in Missouri Service Center MSC, around September 15th and did my biometrics September 27th. On October, I got a RFE asking for some documents regarding my sponsor. I gathered what they asked for and sent it off by the beginning of November. The weird thing happens next. I thought that the work permit would come in in the first 90 days, and that the case was supposed to be sent off to Nebraska, Texas, California centers to be processed and after 6 - 9 months average I would get my NOA2 and then the interview would come. But instead, I got my "Initial Interview Notice" for next month , January 2018 here at OKC. It's been 4 months since I applied, I am happy that it was fast but I have read a lot of other people's cases and they all took a lot more time, so why did mine took so little time? I keep checking online for my case status bu it only appears that the RFE was sent in September, noting about my interview.

Also, is it normal that I never got my I-130 approval notice or NOA2? and that my case was all handled in Missouri Service Center (MSC)

I've been a silent reader till now but I would like to share my I-485 approval time line with you guys. It finally got approved last week. BEST CHRIST MAST PRESENT EVER FOR SURE.
 
It's marriage based with US citizen. I live in NJ and the field office was Newark, NJ.
It took me about 11 months for this whole process.
My spouse is an active US navy but it doesnt seem like it helped with the timeline. :)

P.s) My USCIS case status on website still says it's scheduling the interview. Those people that already finished the interview, just check your mailbox everyday!!!! USCIS doen't update their website actively.

Hello all,

Had a notice arrive the other day for an interview being scheduled on the 2nd January, alongside a cancellation which was issued the following day. I remember some people saying they had received a cancellation notice by mistake, and the interview actually was still going ahead on the original day - is there a way I can find out if my interview is really cancelled or not?

Online, it still says fingerprint fee received which I find a little odd.

We have our interview in few days. On interview notice it says bring all employer letter confirming rate of pay. But we obly have our pay stubs with us. Is there will be a problem at interview. Any help would be appreciated.

I am filing from NYC, marriage-based green card, I am Canadian and my petition was received by MSC.

PD: February 8th, 2017
Biometrics: March 22nd
Received EAD: May 5th

Until now nothing, no updates, has not changed to say "interview ready to be scheduled", I know that it takes about a year and I will probably not get called for an interview until Feb 2018 or March 2018. But is there anyone I can call to check up on my case status? My lawyer is saying I should renew my EAD but it is going to be a $1000 (their fees) and I want to play it safe, but I would rather not have to pay $1000 if im going to get an interview in February.

Who have people called to check up on their status?

Hello everyone I just came back from our interview today.went to 7 floor at federal plaza check in..wait about 10 min,got called in by a nice IO.interview went well..the interview only last 15 mins..no decision, giving me a white letter that decision will make between 120 days..anyone experience this before??
