Why is Potomac so bad compared to other USCIS centers ?
Why is Potomac so so bad compared to every other service centers ? Potomac takes double the time of every other service center to process I751 , N400 and almost every other application . People at other centers apply a year later and get approved but Potomac is still waiting . It almost seems like Potomac center is run by anti immigration hawks who want to delay to slow down immigration . It’s in DC the capital of the country so I cannot believe that they don’t have resources and people when other centers process cases in half the time . Why don’t they send half their cases to the USCIS centers with half or less than half their processing times ? Are people from certain countries and cultures specifically getting their cases in Potomac ?
What exactly causes Potomac to have double delays and processing time compared to every other USCIS center ? Is it staffed by super conservative people who want to delay and slow down immigration into US ?
I-751 case still stuck at "fingerprints taken" receipt date 08-08-2019
I am really losing any hope that my case will ever move forward. According to the USCIS officer in my field office the case has been "ready on the shelf to get picked up by an officer" for at least 2 years now.
Everytime I look up the current processing times on the USCIS website the number moves higher. When I input my date it will say something like "You case is processing normally. The earliest you cab submit questions is *insert date 2 weeks from now*" Then, when I come back at that date, the date has moved another 2 weeks from the current day. It's been doing that for at least 2 years now. What the heck is going on at USCIS???
No update since receipt date. Today 01-20-2023 got notification that card is being produced.
I am sure there are lot of applicants checking various sites for update on uscis application process. Hope this message will keep your hopes ON. GOOD LUCK.
Guys please help me with advise - those who applied recently for removal of conditions
Did you include evidence from when you got married or from when you got your 1st green card ?
Online form instructions says to include evidence from the date of marriage to the present date but i feel like its redundant especially since i gave a lot when i went to interview for first GC.
Please if you can kindly advise, i dont want to make a mistake.
much appreciated
I had applied for my N-400 application for Naturalization in November 2020. The only update I got was my receipt and Biometrics re-use. I was worried there was no movement on my case. On November 16th , I received a notice of interview scheduled for both Cases for Dec 6th. I went in for the interview with my Spouse. The officer conducted interview for i-751 first and my Spouse was excused then she started the N-400 civics test. I passed Civics test and all questions. I was recommended for approval for citizenship on the spot. I am beyond happy as we have waited for over 3 years for this. My status has been updated to "Oath Ceremony will be Scheduled" . I am waiting for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled and I will be a US Citizen officially .
I wish everyone still in this Journey Best of luck! Please feel free to ask me questions.
My application was submitted and processed in the San Jose field Office.
Hi! I have a question about my case. Now I’m waiting for my I-751 approval, my case was transferred to NBC. Can I apply N-400? or I need to wait until my I-751 approve but my husband passed away before I filed i 751. Thank you.
