I-130 Petition for sister with disability
Hi, I filed an I-130 for my mother and my sister (28 years old with Down syndrome) the petition of my mother is already approved and it’s ready to start the NVC part for visa processing. I requested an expedite since my sister doesn’t have any person if my mother comes first to the USA and it was denied. I know that I can request an expedite for my sister due to humanitarian reason that includes disability. But, I don’t understand why the petition was denied. Anyone with any idea on how to request an expedite for disabilities family members?

Green Card Holder
Hello Everyone!

I have a quick question. I'm 62 and a green card holder. I would like to sponsor my children 27 and 33 ( who still live overseas) My 33 has 2 kids 8 and 9 years old My question is, if they come on visitor visas to visit, can I file their paperwork while they're here? and just wait for the process out? I would appreciate responses from people who've gone this route, please.

Thank you in advance

I am currently married however we have agreed that tings are not working out so we decide that we will be getting a divorce soon. My husband petitioned for and I am now a citizen. We are been married for 6 and 1/2 years.

I have been so miserable in my marriage for so long and my best friend had been there for md through everything and I really fell in love with him.

How soon after the divorce can I remarry and will this course a problem with uscis?

I-751 submitted Feb 2022.
I submitted my documents and application in feb 2022 and received notice of receipt a week after (texas center). Since then, I have moved to a new place and changed my address with uscis. No updates since last yr Feb 2022. I found out yesterday through USPS informed digest that they sent something in the mail to my old address. My case status online still is the same as last yr so im not sure what they sent. I am trying to figure out how to get my mail from my old address, but why would they send it there since I updated my address with them????

i130 Filing for Mother
I'm planning to file form i130 for my mum so that she can come live with me here in America. But the problem is my late brother's kids live with her (age 7 and 9 years old). She has been responsible for these 2 kids since my brother passed away in 2017.

Now my question is; is it possible to include these kids as dependents in my mum's i130 petition? Note, these are her grandchildren and there's no one to leave them with when she travels to America.

Are there any other legal options for her to come to America with these 2 children.

I hope you understand my situation. Thanks so much for your time.
