Any one filed I485 in Jan 2017 , got GC ?
Just curious, if there is RFE , how do USCIS inform ? Does the status reflect with RFE ? Do they send RFE to attorney?

Since then there has been no movement.

Any idea if i am on track? Should i be expecting the Combo card anytime soon? I need to travel to India by end of this year as i have to settle some Adhaar related issues.

RFE was received my response to RFE on 6/6 and I raised a SR on 9/18.
USCIS shows that they sent a response to my SR on 10/17 but I haven't received anything yet.

Does anyone know what happened? I heard they send the response in the mail. I received a mail from USCIS regarding EAD renewal which was sent on 10/25.

Though it is common to get into a state of tension (which I had been through for the past one month), don't worry every one's time will come. I guess file pickup is also a luck at service centers. Because, couple of my friends applied later than me and got the cards earlier.

I have been reading a lot of different experience here.NSC is really slow and I don't know if they are really doing their jobs. It is really disappointing to see how they manage their workloads. My family is already in a difficult situation financially. My employer is taking advantage on me in terms of workload and salary. I want to switch to a different employer but I don't have any choice since my current employer filed my petition. The company lawyer also doesn't do any action even raising SR. I raised the SR once for my I-140, EAD and AP. Now here is my timeline and I hope I can have some words of encouragement.

11/22/2016 PERM Approved
02/17/2017 I-140 Submission (Regular)
06/22/2017 I-485, EAD and AP Submission
08/21/2017 Biometric
10/02/2017 Raised SR for EAD and AP ( nothing happen and did not see any response )
10/27/2017 Raised SR for I-140 ( will wait until Nov 18, 2017 for the response.)

Hi,
1. As per the new process of mandatory interviews, can someone help with interview questions being asked for Employment EB1 i485 processing?
2. What preparation is required to go to interview?
3. Do we need to hire any attorney, considering this is employment based
4. Are they checking each and every document?

Until today that has not become current,
So, Feb 2016 filed Eb1b - Outstanding Professor category, concurrently filed and medicals also enclosed from the USCIS civil surgeon then
June 2016 Finger Printing done
August 2016 EAD card received
No update on I-140 under EB1b until Jan 2017
Jan 2017 Premium processing paid
Feb 2017 I-140 approved
Mar 2017 RFE on explain nature of job (Really!!! I submitted the entire dossier with 10 recommendations from top university professors such as MIT, OoF, had submitted 10 published peer reviewed double blind papers, 29 national and international conferences, and as Journal reviewer). BTW, I worked more on this dossier than on my tenure dossier. Seriously!
RFE response submitted with tenure confirmation letter
June 2017 - RFE for my wife and daughter for expired medicals and wife's birth certicate
August 2017 - RFE response received by the USCIS
July 2017 - RFE for my medical (Gonorreah test missing and medicals on new form needed)
August 2017 -- REFE response received
EB1 also goes into retrogression until October 2017 (Apni to Kismat hi kharab hai)
5th Oct 2017 -- SR submitted to TSC
25th Oct 2017 -- for my daughter and me, Status says, "New Card Is Being Produced
On October 25, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number S@CXYZABC???, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
We feel happy, but do not know what this means and what to expect.
Wife's still the same saying received RFE response in June 2017.
Hopefully all will be well for us and you all.
