Aug 2011- Current on H1b Visa on a tenure track job from 2011-2017, now tenured
Green Card Dates:
Aug 2012 University filed for EB2
Oct 2012 I-140 Approved (SO PD is Oct 2012)
Until today that has not become current,
So, Feb 2016 filed Eb1b - Outstanding Professor category, concurrently filed and medicals also enclosed from the USCIS civil surgeon then
June 2016 Finger Printing done
August 2016 EAD card received
No update on I-140 under EB1b until Jan 2017
Jan 2017 Premium processing paid
Feb 2017 I-140 approved
Mar 2017 RFE on explain nature of job (Really!!! I submitted the entire dossier with 10 recommendations from top university professors such as MIT, OoF, had submitted 10 published peer reviewed double blind papers, 29 national and international conferences, and as Journal reviewer). BTW, I worked more on this dossier than on my tenure dossier. Seriously!
RFE response submitted with tenure confirmation letter
June 2017 - RFE for my wife and daughter for expired medicals and wife's birth certicate
August 2017 - RFE response received by the USCIS
July 2017 - RFE for my medical (Gonorreah test missing and medicals on new form needed)
August 2017 -- REFE response received
EB1 also goes into retrogression until October 2017 (Apni to Kismat hi kharab hai)
5th Oct 2017 -- SR submitted to TSC
25th Oct 2017 -- for my daughter and me, Status says, "New Card Is Being Produced
On October 25, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number
S@CXYZABC???, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to
www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
We feel happy, but do not know what this means and what to expect.
Wife's still the same saying received RFE response in June 2017.
