Employment Based Greencard

Hi,

I am on L1A visa. My company filed I140 and I485 together in August 2017. I have the submission notice reference number with me. My visa is gonna expire in November 2017.
 
I really doubt if I get my I140 approved before my visa expiry.

Am I legally allowed to stay back as my I140 and I485 are in processing stage or should I apply for my vsia extension.

Please Advise.

Received I-140 - Non-Premium Processing: Jan 30, 2017
Approved I-140: Sep 06, 2017 (No RFE and system WAS NOT UPDATED) my lawyer received the notification by mail, the USCIS system still shows case received,

Received I-485: Jan 30, 2017
Pending Approval

Really hope my I-485 approval comes before October.

I would like to let you know that on Saturday(Sep 16), I received the RFE notice letters for our I-485 forms. I have seen below reasons in the notice letters.

RFE on My I-485 Form: Need to submit Supplement J, Confirmation of Bona Fide Job Offer
RFE on Wife's I-485 Form: Information missing from Vaccination Record in Form l-693

I have asked my attorney to guide me for the next steps.

Is there anybody who knows what is Supplement J, Confirmation of Bona Fide Job Offer?

The same doctor did the medical test for me and my wife. Don't know how information missing from
 my wife's vaccination Record. In my RFE, no medical reason is mentioned. I thought, I will get RFE on gonorrhea. But that is not mentioned in either notice.

Request your suggestion please.

I received notification that my case has been transferred to another office (from Texas to Nebraska). This notification applies to both my I140 and 485. It does not make sense as the processing time is longer at Nebraska than Texas.

Btw, I am ROW L1A based applying EB1C.

Anyone else got their 140 transferred recently? And what does this mean for timelines?

June 6 biometrics
June 8 EAD/Travel card received
August 14 I485J n I485 approval (posted)
August 17 GC in hand.
Oh It's for 3 people and it was thru employment.

Surprisingly, I did not get AP/EAD combo and that status remains unchanged on the website. Best of luck to everyone.

Based on recent State Department Visa Bulletin, it seems EB2 Visas are current from October 1, 2017.

Just wondering is any of you (EB2 Applicants) heard back from USCIS on I-485? Also based on the new EO, the pending EB2 applicants also have to go through the in-person interview process?

Hi All,

Today the status of my I-485 has been changed to "Request for Initial Evidence Was Mailed". The status of my wife & daughter's I-485 are unchanged.

I sill have not received any update on I-140 from my attorney. Status is "Case Was Received".

Anybody has similar experience? Please reply.

I raised SR and got this reply " . Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days". Any comments on this?
