I just received passport submission letter from IRCC and wanted to know currently how much time it is taking at Los Angeles VFS center to return the passport? Has anyone had recent experience at LA VFS center?
We have upcoming international trip in mid of April so do not want to take risk if It is taking more than a month to receive a passport back. Any help would be appreciated.

I have got my Canada work permit approved, stamping pending. But my Indian passport is due to expire in Dec 22. Please help with below query.
- As seen, visa is stamped only for the duration of passport validity.
- what happens if I get it stamped now till Dec 22, do I need to apply for extension if I get a new passport.
- how difficult it is?
- how long it would take?
- what would be the cost?

Last status - 17/dec/2021 - my medical was approve
I am in my 9th week. How much more time ?

Preciously when I applied it was 6 weeks and now it's changed to 8 weeks. I thought I could get the passport request this week. However, no any update yet. Does anyone have similar experience?

Biometrics Completed on 11/23/2021.
Still no reply from CIC.Website shows 7 weeks processing time. Does anyone have idea of the actual processing time?Kindly share your experiences, is anyone in the same boat?
