Hi Guys

I am on F1 visa. I came to USA on Dec,2017. Now I am on CPT doing internship this summer and also I am graduating this summer on August 10. I have already applied for OPT and requested my start date for August 12.

I had earlier applied for F2 visa 6 times for my spouse and son between march 2018 to april 2019 and all the time it got rejected. We got married on 2014

Now I am on CPT and want to apply again for F2. but I am thinking to wait untill i start OPT and work.

Can any one suggest me Is it ok to apply for visa while i am on CPT or I should wait untill i get my OPT approved and start work.

Your suggestion will be appreciated

Asking for a friend
I have a quick question on the visa administrative hold.

The case m talking about had an interview on 17Apr 2019. My status did not update yet.
So, any approvals for candidates in the month of april after clearing the admin hold, please tell me the wait time

Many F1 Visa's are being put on hold for further admin processing and the financials are collected accordingly.
Anyone who have got their visa's issued post the admin process?

I have a question regarding showing funds.

I have shown savings of parents and grandparents which is more than I20 amount. My parents (working) and grandparents(retired) are Government employees in India.

Now for my F1 visa interview for having fund of 1.5 times I20 amount I would like to use both loan and 75% of my family savings. Apart from these there are some properties like house whose evaluation worth I will keep as reference.

Is it okay or anything I need to change my financial plan ?

My wife appeared for F2 visa interview on May 6th in Chennai

VO: Can I have both of your I20?
Wife hands over both the I20 forms.
VO: What is he studying there?
Wife: MBA
VO: Which university?
Wife: Arizona State University
VO: So how will you manage your expenses? Is your husband working there?
Wife: I have my savings, as well as my husband, has some saving and hands over both her and my bank statements. My husband also has a GA there.
VO: What is GA?
Wife: Graduate Assistantship
VO: Sorry, your visa has been rejected. And hands over the form stating denial under section 214(b).

Can anybody tell me or guide me what would have been the possible reason for denial?

I got married in 2017 and moved to the US in F2 visa while my husband was on F1 Visa. My husband got job in an University (public) as assistant professor in Aug 2018. He's now on his F1- OPT. I've got admit for MSCS in his University itself for Fall 2019. I'm currently in India to get F1 Visa. Please clear the following queries.
1. What are my chances of getting my F1 Visa approved provided my husband works as a assistant professor? Will that mean that we are intended to stay and a possible reason for my F1 Visa to be rejected?
2. Has anyone faced a similar experience? If yes, please reply to this post.

i m on my F1 visa but my F1 visa got expired on 26 December 2018. My OPT finished on Mar1st, 2019 and then I applied for another program in Community college.
I am planning to go back to india for my sister wedding and i am scared for my f1 interview because of all the rejection ratio. Is any one went for re-stamp f1 visa interview?

Thanks in advance for reading through a very long email

I got admitted into UC for Executive Ph.D. in Information Technology for Spring 2019 term. I am currently on F1 visa. Before that I have admitted and completed into Keller Schoool of Mangement for MBA in Information Technology in 2015-2017. I have used my Masters OPT for 12 months and switch back to UC for Ph.D and staying F1 visa. I plant to go to india in August 2019 during my summer 2019 semester to get my F1 student visa interview. Before that I have done H1B stamping in the year 2014. After that, now only i am going to india to get stamping for F1 student visa. In my Ph.D. still I didn't apply for CPT.

Could you guys help me to get the visa interview in smooth way? If you guys have any experience please share to get my visa stamping.

Thank you in advance.
