OCI Card

I just applied for OCI card for a 3-month-old baby on July 24, got the passport back by July 26 and even today on OCI website it shows UNDER-PROCESS as Status.
Will the application moves ahead or whom should we contact to get exact status?
Any help or suggestions is highly appreciated

Hello Folks,

I applied OCI for My 3 month old infant and got the card in 4 weeks. As most of you have posted here it's just taking a month to receive OCI card Its 100% true.

Package mailed to CKGS July 23 2019
Passport returned July 25 2019
Acknowledgment received from government website 16 August 2019
OCI Card received 22 August 2019

Many of you expect that it's very hard to get the OCI card sooner But I wanted to share my experience and probably that's the reason why process was quicker in my case. I did my homework and made sure each detail is properly updated, I got the proof letters notarized because i didn't had address proof on my spouse's name, This was not asked at all in documentation request. I made sure Each document is aligned in the order requested by CKGS.

If you are applying in WASHINGTON DC. For sure it will take minimum 3 months, So Plan accordingly and apply it. Be patient and check the status.
