H1B and H4
Visa approved during the Interview with no problem (this is the 6th time renewal), no additional information no 221g form.

Now its been 10 days under administrative processing and not further information has been requested nor the status changed.

Nov 1st - Interview, Visa approved.
Nov 2nd - CEAC Status: Administrative Process
Nov 11th - CEAC Status: Administrative Process

anyone with similar experience?

I came to the USA in 2017 with Employer A - Visa valid till Feb 2020.
Changed Employer in 2019 May - Got visa transferred, with extension till 2022.

planning to travel to India in May 2020.

Will I be eligible for dropbox? Thanks in advance.

Hello All....

I would like to share my H1B visa experience in hyderabad consulate which might be useful for other visa seekers.

Oct 24 : Finger prints
1. Visited the consulate half an hour before but allowed inside only before 15mins of scheduled time.
2. Normal procedure passport and DS160 would be checked and allowed inside to join the queue , would be sent to a counter for finger prints and photo.
Note : Ensure the details in DS160 are exactly matched with passport. otherwise you would asked for corrections in ds160 as per passport

Oct 25 : D day
1. Normal procedure , allowed 15 mins before , scanned and then joined the queue, finger prints would be verified again and will join the main queue.
2. its my turn to face the interview and it goes as below

1. How long you have been working in current company?
2. who is your client ?
3. what is your job role ?
4. what is the salary in US ?
5. do you know your work rights in US? - A : YES
6.How long did you get married ?
7. Do you have marriage certificate ?

I have answered above questions and VISA APPROVED.
Stamped Passport received in 3days.

Note : Be cool , dont distract your attention looking others result or behaviour.

I dropped my pp on 4th nov, rec an email saying i need to collect my pp. got back the pp with a pink slip attached near the visa stamp of my last stamping with a paper ticked on the 2nd option in it, asking to attend interview on any working day between 10.00 am to 11.00 am.

If anyone with same experience, please let me know you experience.

Nov4: Dropped off documents (Changed employer 4 months ago)
Nov7: Got a notification to pick up passport along with a white slip asking to appear for Interview.

Is anyone in the same boat?

I had my H1b along with my spouse H4 interview.

Location - Hyderabad
Total interview time - 7~8 mts

VO - Passports please
Me- Handed both passports
VO- Employer name
Me - answered
VO - end client name
Me - answered
VO- salary

VO - employer and end client locations
Me - answered
VO - highest degree and major
me- answered
VO- University
me - answered
VO- have you been out of status before?

next to my wife
VO - Wedding date
wife - answered
VO- wedding photos
wife - gave to VO
VO- location of wedding

VO- what is the name of the wedding hall
Wife - took couple of seconds and answered
VO- are you out of status before

VO - have you joined any university in uSA

then he typed and doing something for couple of minutes and then told me we need to do some additional administrative processing and will take few days to update and gave me 221g white slip (no check boxes, no additional docs asked as of now). VO kept our passports with him.

Please let me know if anyone had similar situation ?

Attended my first H-1B Visa Interview on October 15th 2019 in Hyderabad. VO asked me some basic questions and took my LCA,Paystubs and End Client Letter. After the interview VO returned my Passport with 221g White slip and said my application needs some additional administrative processing.

Its been 3 weeks now wit no updates and its really frustrating.Anyone on same boat?

Are there any issues in doing h1b stamping 3 to 5 months before current h1b expiration date.

I have a currently valid H1b visa expiring on March 30 2020, I also have an extension approval starting March 31st 2020 - March 30 2023.

I am planning on doing my extension stamping this month.

Hello , here is my timeline.

Nov 1: Dropped off documents
Nov 4: Visa status: Application received, Passport: Passport received by consulate
Nov 5:10:00 AM Visa status: Administrative processing, Passport: Passport received
Nov 5: 1:00 PM Visa status: Administrative processing, Passport : Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery

Since my visa status has not changed, does this mean I can expect some sort of 221G ?

Hi, I currently live in PELNSLYVANIA (my client address), I got my h1b approved with same client this year. But my school updated my physical address to my employer address in SEVP Portal.. I haven’t noticed that as my h1b approved same week after they updated.I can’t change it now as SEVP is inactive now.and Now I’m going for stamping this November, will that be an issue for me or shall I just fill AR-11 address? Please reply and share your thoughts. It’s urgent please
