Looks like other folks are having a terrible experience here. We are having to change our tickets now due to this. Our timeline:
received and is under process in CKGS: 03/20/2015
processed at the CKGS Application Centre and is in transit to the Indian Embassy/Consulate: 03/26/2015
Your printed OCI Card is ready for match-up: 06/10/2015
Sent passport same day: 06/10/2015
passport received at SF through fedex on: 06/12/2015
Your Passport has been received at CKGS for Match-Up: 06/20/2015
** what they were doing between 6/12 and 6/20 I just can't understand **
Passport is 'In Transit' to the Embassy / Consulate for Match-Up: 06/20/2015
** why it takes 5 days to travel 3.5 miles is also unbelievable **
Application is under process at the Embassy / Consulate: 06/25/2015
** called them a few times and they said that the time will now depend upon the consulate **
