EAD timeline - April 2018 applicant
Hi all,

Thanks everyone for posting their experiences. Really helpful during the last few stressful months. Here is my timeline.

Married USC in Washington DC and applied for adjustment of status, EAD and advance parole (NBC). Previously on F1 visa which expired in July.

- Case received: April 17
- Request for evidence (translation of birth certificate): May 4
- Fingerprint review completed: May 10
- Evidence received: May 16
- Case ready to be scheduled for an interview: May 30
- Called to expedite based on job offer and financial loss (did not call Senator): September 19
- New card is being produced: September 20
- EAD and Advance Parole approved: September 21 (strange that the approval notice came after they said the card was in production).
- Card mailed to me: September 24
- Combo card in my hands: September 26

So my case seems to be under their current 'normal' processing times for the NBC. Not sure if calling to expedite worked as I never got a confirmation or request for more evidence and my card was in production the next day. I decided to try expediting once I got my job offer and argued that I had a few months without income already and my employer is a non profit working in different projects across the US. I would give that a shot if you can.

Hang in there, be patient, and best of luck to everyone!!
