07/22/2016: Filed I-140/I-485 concurrently, premium processing
08/01/2016: Received I-140 RFE
09/08/2016: Responded to I-140 RFE
09/12/2016: I-140 approved
I-485 still stuck at "updated your name for your Form I-485" stage since 08/23/2016.
Sent SR on 17 Feb, no response for 30 days.
Sent email to NSC followup to inquire about SR non-response, got this reply:
"At this time the case is assigned to an adjudications officer. Although assigned, we cannot predict the date the case may actually receive review. If you have not received a decision or other notice of action on this case within 60 days, please contact customer service for an update."
Basically, the I-485 has been pending for 257 days (~8.5 months). My immigrations attorney tells me that all I-485 approvals are taking 8-10 months now for everyone... but it seems so hard to estimate. Reading this forum it seems like some people have been waiting for years, and some only have to wait for 3-4 months...
Any advice?
