fresh OCI application MINOR - Houston
My daughter was born in Jan 2015 and my i-94 is expiring in august first week.So just 7 months before my I-94 expiring.
I applied for fresh OCI application in 04/27/2015 and since 04/30 , the status is UNDER PROCESS(45 days).
Its not that i want to travel by choice but i cant stay after August first week.
I mailed Houston consulate and Indian consular this week as i knew CKGS wont help much in this , Surprisingly i got reply from Indian consular office Mr shetty who said that they havent even received the application yet and its still with Houston consulate. He asked me to contact them directly to expedite.
I dont know how to contact them apart from emails which they didnt reply.
Now i am in limbo whether to wait or apply for VISA and what will happen to the OCI processing when i am not here.
Incase of VISA should i be applying for transit visa?
Any pointers what should i do.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
