Greencard Approved - Louisville FO
Hey guys,
Sharing my experience after my interview scheduled on 29th December at Louisville FO.

My interview was scheduled for 10:15 am. We reached there around 9 am and they let us in around 10 am. Once at the immigration office, they have a nice booth with facetime camera setup as COVID precautions. They asked COVID questions and scanned the barcode from the interview notice before they let us in. The IO officer came after 10 minutes. They took my wife (petitioner) in for questions.

Questions to my spouse:
1. Questions from I-130
2. Whats your name, where were you born, husbands name, his work, her work.
3. Who proposed, did you go for honeymoon, what was your favorite food, how big was the wedding
4. Any pets?
5. House or rental? What color is the house.

After 15 minutes, the IO came and asked for me.

Questions to me (applicant)
1. I-485 questions
2. Same questions asked to my wife. (He was writing down my answers and making sure the answers were same).

After questions were asked, IO asked if we have any questions. We submitted extra documents.
1. Joint Tax Returns
2. New Paystubs
3. Photos
4. Joint Bank Accounts
5. Joint Utility bills

IO mentioned he will grant us for approval and explained we will get conditional approval for 2 years and we can apply for citizenship after 3 years if that is what we want.

We got notified in an hour the greencard has been approved and card has been mailed on 31st December. Waiting on the card.

The interview was easy and the IO was very nice. Glad to be done with this process.

:)
