H1 and H4 interview in Chennai
Ok my interview was back in Feb . Though I am late I thought of posting my experience so that it helps others.
I went through a lot of these before my interview and it really really helped.

Mine was for H1 and my husband for H4.
My worry was about my husband's visa, there are chances of they having a doubt about what a husband would do if they don't have work permit in the US.
We tried H1 for 2 years for my husband but it dint get through the lottery so was helpless and had to enter with H4.

if the interviewer questions what my husband would do without working in the US , we thought of answering that he is just coming along to help me settled down with home/car and stuff and he would get back to india to continue his work .For that we managed to get a leave approval letter from his office. But anyway that question was not asked for us.

First Day:
Biometric at Chennai : I had been to Chennai for L1 stamping a year ago and thought it would be the same place as the address was the same area and we decided to leave the hotel just half hour before my schedule time. But once we reached there we realized they had changed the location , we soon headed there and reached just ontime. If we reach just ontime we will be allowed inside without having to wait so its a good thing.( But wouldn't recommend , please be there 15mins before ur schedule time, not any before too).

you will be asked to show required docs , DS160 , passport
They ask your name , passport number , date of birth , purpose of visit and they take your finger prints and stick a sticker on your passport.
That's all on the first day

Visa Stamping day :
This day again we reached just 15mins before the schedule time ( as for my previous stamping I waited in the sun for half hour and was really tired ). Surprisingly there was no waiting at all and as soon as we reached the place they let us inside

At first they do some security checks and scan your files and then let u enter another block.
Here if it is L1 you have to pay the check , if H1 there is nothing to dothey scan the sticker they put on the first day and let you inside a room .Last year when I went for interview the arrangement was a little different they had asked us to sit and wait for our turn (token number which will be displayed on the screens) But this year they had made everyone stand in a queue and there was a person at the start to tell which VO should we go to.
There was one old female VO who was continuesly rejecting all the people who went there. I guess it was for L1 visas . So everyone who were in the queue just kept listening to that lady and were praying that they don't get her as the VO. Same was with my case. While it was my turn luckily I did not get that VO.

VO: Good morning
Me and My husband : Good morning , how are you
VO: Really good , thank you
VO: Can I get your passports
We passed it to her
VO to me: Which company do you work for?
Me: ZZZ
VO : Had you been here for L1 visa before?
Me: Yes
VO: Which client will you be working for?
Me: ZZZ
VO: What is the salary you will be getting per month in the US
Me: (I had prepared for annual income and had not calculated for per month.) Can I tell you how much I would draw annually? I might need to calculate if you want me to tell per month.
VO: Laughed! Sure that should be fine.
Me: ZZZ
VO to my husband: How long have you been married
H : 1.5 years
VO: Wow!! congratulations ! have a great time together
M&H : Thanks
VO: Are you working here
H: Yes
VO: You must be aware you cant work in the US.
H: Yes I do.
VO: Great! Your visas are approved. You will get your passports shortly
M&H : Thanks a lot! Have a great day

It went fine and we got passports in 4 days I guess.
And at the port of entry ,
The immigration officer asked for our passports , i797 and stamped for 10days more than our visa validity .
HE asked if I was still working for the same company as stamped in the visa and asked if it was my first visit to US.

Things went well and we are in the US now.

All the best to everyone who are attending the interviews!! Just stay calm and keep smiling!
