Visa Stamping from Canada/ Mexico

* Without knowing the fact that we need a valid US Visa stamping to travel thru London, i booked the flight tickets for my family through British airways.
* Later came to know and requested the airlines to cancel the tickets, but they refused since its a non-refundable ticket booked on a promo.
* I even tried applying for UK transit visa DATV and for some reason it got rejected.
* It will be very expensive for me to book round trip, so i am trying all possible ways to use the current itinerary.
* The only available option left is to get stamping from US Embassy in Canada or Mexico.
* Basically i live in Seattle, WA
