I-765/I-131 Renewal - Rejection due to improper filing?!?
It had been a month since USCIS received my application and I hadn't received any notification/receipt notice. So I contacted the agent on live chat today. They searched on their end and finally found a cases status (This is the first time I even received a case number) - apparently my packet was rejected on June 11th due to improper/incorrect filing and that they have sent back the packet with all the documents that I sent with it - but I have not received the rejection notice that would tell me the exact reason.
The agent helped me with a service request which they said will inform me within 30 days on any update/if they will send me a notice again etc.
My application was signed, dated and all fields were filled - now I guess I just have to wait and see what this reason of rejection/incorrect field could have been.
My current EAD expires in November - so I have SOME time before I am cutting it close but I am still freaking out about it.
Anyone ever been in this boat?? :'(
Should I reach out to a tier 2 agent to dig deeper???
