I130 rejected due to version no longer valid
I submitted a i130 for my daughter and when I checked my status online it
says they rejected the case because the version used for i130 is no longer
valid. When I submitted the case a year ago, I printed the most up to date
form from their website. It took a year for them to look at the case, and
now there is a new form, so they rejected my case even though the form at
the time used was the valid form. If that's what they are doing, then they
will reject a lot of cases all the time because the form versions are
constantly changing.
Also, if I resubmit now using the new version, will it be like starting from
scratch and I have to wait another full year until my case is approved? Or
do I keep the priority date from my previous case that was rejected?
