Master hearing in the immigration court while I130 pending
Hi everyone,

I have kind of urgent questions regarding master hearing in immigration court. I am posting it here wishing people that have the same experience may have answers to share. Many thanks in advance!

I filed asylum back in 2014 and had interviewed with USCIS and was referred to immigration court. My master hearing was scheduled end of this month. During that time, I got married and had a son with a US citizen, and he filed I130 for me. The I130 still pending, no interview after 21 months yet while the master hearing is coming up.

My questions are:

What kind of questions the judge is going to ask? Are there any questions specific to my asylum case that could be asked on the master hearing? Is he going to ask me if I admit to overstaying visa charge on the Notice to Appear? I am going to bring the lawyer with me, can he answer all these questions for me or I will have to answer? Does the judge have the I130 file or I will have to bring with me? My attorney is unresponsive and I am running out time to find a new one.

Thank you very much for your kind help!!
