My parents0in-law got 10 years visitor visa from calcutta US consulate on Feb 3, 2005 and my mother-in-law was asked the following questions
1. How many children you have and what are they?
2. Does your daughter who is in US have children?
3. Do you want to get US citizenship?
4. How long you are planning to stay there?
5. Who is sponsoring for your trip?
6. How many brothers and sisters you have and where are they?
Question 3 was repeated thrice during the interview. The consular officer was pleased with the documents that I sent. Arrangement of Documents matters. Finally the consular officer told that she is granting 10 years visa with multiple entry.
