N400 Interview and Oath Ceremony Dallas Office
Greetings all! I had my N400 naturalization interview today at 10:45am in Irving Dallas. There were very many people there and the que was long! I joined the que at 10:30 am and got inside the building at 10:57am. Once I was processed I went upstairs and waited for about 10 minutes. My Immigration officer was friendly and very direct. As soon she administered the oath she asked if I was ready and we went into the civics question - I answered 6 correctly and only remember 2 :) The English reading and writing was simple; Read: When do we celebrate Columbus Day? With: We celebrate Columbus Day in October. She told me I had passed and we moved on to the form itself and that went quickly. Once we were done she asked me if I would be willing to return for a same day oath ceremony!! I almost fainted!! I told her I was willing and able and she printed out the oath ceremony form with a 2pm time! ONLY GOD!!!! At 2pm there were 10 of us for the Oath Ceremony and I am now a US citizen! Glory to God 🙂 I encourage you all to stay the course and pray - God is a mountain mover!
