Hi,
My freind father passed away few days back. He is looking to renew the B2 visa for her mother in India. It would be dropbox as the visa expired 8 months back [<12 months condition].
His mother passport shows the martial status as married along with husband name. In the DS160, he would have to fill as Widow now, does the marital status on the passport matters?
- Will he need to renew the passport before visa renewal? If no, then
- Will he need death certificate of his father for B2 visa renewal?
