Never buy insurance from ICICI Lombard
I purchase travel health insurance for visiting parents from ICICI Lombard from their web site. The person didn't explain the facts and limitations to me when selling the insurance. When my father was hosptialized, I came to know that for people above 55 years of age, there are sub-limits to each and every procedure. Those limits are well below the actual charges, highly insufficient.
My claim was rejected.
I also tried to cancel the policy. However, I was told that the policy can't be cancelled within 30 days of expiration date.
I strongly advise everyone not to buy insurance from ICICI Lombard.
