Parents Green Card - Birth Certificate
We are trying to apply Green card for my father. We tried to apply the Green card for him in 2017, so we have the documents procured in 2016. But my father could not make it to the Green card interview process at that time.
We are again trying to apply it now.
My father's birth was not registered, so we have the non availability certificate for birth and affidavits for his date of birth provided and signed in July 2016. from his relatives older than him. Could you please respond to the below questions?
1) How many affidavits are needed from older relatives when birth certificate is not available?
2) Can affidavits of birth signed and attested in 2016 be used now if we apply for his green card later this year or early next year or will he need to get new affidavits?
Appreciate your response.
