PIO card to OCI Card
Can some one narrate your experience with "converting PIO card to OCI Card". Behalf of my minor child, I have completed registration process on NYC Consulate official website and it generated application and directed me to print Part-A and B along with "instructions for filing. It appeared very simple and I was about to mail my application along with required documents specified in the "instructions for filing".
I happened to visit Cox and Kings website and it has a "check list for minor covering PIO to OCI" and it has 4 pages of check list and many documents to be attached which are not on the "instructions for filing" check list that I printed. This is very confusing, I therefore, stopped mailing my application.
Please explain your experience and guide if I should simply follow check list printed or Cox & Kings website.
