RFE for Birth Certificate - any experience?
Hi All! We recently had our interview and the case status was updated in less than an hour after interview to 'my interview was completed and case must be reviewed' (I will post in a separate thread about the interview experience but it went pretty smooth).
Towards the end of interview IO mentioned that as my (spouse beneficiary) birth certificate has missing name, he will have to confirm with supervisor and we may/or may not get RFE but wasn't sure.
So while we wait for any further information/decision, I wanted to hop on here and ask this forum, if anyone has experience with receiving an RFE for birth certificate with missing name and how did you respond to it. I know it differs by country so just for context, I am Indian.
If we do end up getting an RFE, I am just confused as to - our case was pending interview for 2+ years and we never got an RFE about this. :(
But wanted to get information from people's experience on this just so we can start prepping in case we need additional documents IF we do receive one.
