Social security update after naturalization
I have completed the naturalization step recently. The ceremony documents say that social security needs to get updated and the naturalization certificate is required.

I do not like to use post to mail naturalization certificate (it will be a hassle to get replacement, if post misses it or if it incorrectly passes it to a neighbor). Due to Covid, I also prefer to minimize my visit to any public building.

Is there any issue, if I postpone my social security update to e.g. 1 year or more, till the pandemic status gets better? I do not want to do unnecessary health risk. Can it be an issue, if I potentially want to change employer (note: I do not plan to apply for a position that would be limited to citizens)? If the employer wants the citizenship proof, the naturalization certificate or passport can be provided.
