Staten Island filer
Hi everyone.

I am a 23 year old Scot married to 26 year old US citizen.

I came to the US on October 30th 2019 on an esta from Scotland on an extended visit to my then girlfriend who is now my wife.

Before this I have made 6 different trips to the US as my half sister lives here and I used to come here for vacation untill the 4th trip which was when I met my wife.

She has also visited me in Scotland for 5 months before I visited her for the duration of my Esta.

After being here for a while we spoke to a few immigration lawyers to see what our options would be for fiance visas ect and they all told us it would be better for us to get married while I'm here on the esta and apply for adjustment of status. We thought about it for a few weeks and decided to go ahead and get married spontaneously and end our long distance relationship.

We had a small court wedding with close friends and family.

We also went with a good lawyer who prepared our petitions nicely.

The time line so far goes

Jan 3rd 2020. Married

February 11th 2020. USCIS receives forms: i485, i130, i765, i131, medical report and 2 checks for $1225 and $535

February 22nd 2020: receive 4 receipts for the above forms

February 23rd 2020: received letter for biometrics appointment.

March 3rd 2020: biometrics done in ASC in brooklyn nyc.

March 3rd 2020: case status for i485, i765 and i131 changed to case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.

March 11th 2020: received letter from USCIS telling me that my old biometrics from the airport are being used and I don't need to go to biometrics appointment. Even though I had already went the the appointment a week before.

April 3rd 2020: case status for i485 changed to Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

After this there has been complete silence from the USCIS and I assume its to do with the covid19 pandemic. Case status has not changed.

My wife is now 6 weeks pregnant and we are wondering if this affects my case in any way?

Im also wondering about how long I will be waiting until there are any changes to my case?

Thank you everyone
