This morning I recieved an e-mail from USCIS saying that last time they took action was 04/05/18? I really hope is good news,has anybody gotten the same email? Forgot to mention I haven?t summited more inquiries other than January one which was already responded a month ago

Employement based Interview

Hi Lili79, do you mind if I ask you questions on your interview? Firstly how are you adjusting your status (EB1, EB2, marriage, etc.)? Were you told on the spot that you were approved? What kinds of questions did they ask you?

He just went over routing questions that appear in the questionnaire on the petition. Have you done illegal stuff, etc etc. Do you work for the same employer. What do you do? And asked my kids (h4) if I was their mom. Very basic. He said it is all good I will send for approval and nothing since then. Everyone I know has gotten a response right away like next day email one week card. that's why I am worried.

I had my interview (Orlando Office) on March 20th with priority date July 6 and it was successful as to what the officer mentioned. 3 weeks and I haven't received anything. Welcome letter or cards. Anyone the same?

I filed in July and have received my EAD (in October), still waiting on interview date (but the notice is on the way).

Yeah, I got another one yesterday saying that there was nothing to update and that they are still working on my case. So, basically the service request did not do much. I scheduled an info pass at my local field office and spoke with an agent who told me that I recently passed the clearance and that everything should be smoothly moving forward. Let's hope the agent is right!

I just received an email for USCIS with response from by Service Request back in February 7th. My message is slightly different and says:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.

I hope this is good news!

Maybe someone can help me. I am a Canadian citizen married to H1b, I moved to US on H4.

We applied for AOS separately, he applied in April and mine was filed after I moved in Aug, 2017. We got married in Jan2017.

He already got his EAD/AP in Aug and still waiting for interview. Whereas me I haven?t even got EAD/ AP yet.

Questions:

1) is it possible I won?t get EAD/AP and straight interview?

2) do you know if our interviews are going to be separate or since I am follow to join, mine would be with him when he gets his?

3) I read anyone else listed on primary applicants application has to join for interview? So will I have 2 interviews or both will have 2 interviews?

On Thursday I received a RFE dated 03/23. I really do believe that contacting Ombudsman helped in my case. Still haven't received EAD/AP. Case is in pending status, so we have to get busy responding.

So you still have not heard anything from your service request? Can you shed some light on how to contact ombudsman and what to say?

I think either :
Same officer is handling all our cases and just updating as per higher official orders
or
Our cases are finally getting processed

You?re dates don?t look right,you said your case was delivery May 2016? Can you please write down your dates correctly,it just doesn?t make any sense
