Congratulations! very happy for you as well. It’s great to see the notices roll in for August filers. Hopefully our journey is close to an end.

Would you mind sharing your exact date in August for priority date ? And what date was your interview scheduled ?

Oh, it's Aug 3 2018. I initially thought I typed the full pd. I think they can stamp the passport if you request for it after the interview.

That’s great. Would you mind sharing your exact PD date ? My wife and I have a Christmas vacation planned with international travel. Is there any chance they would stamp a temporary green card on my passport ?

Hello - fwiw - I had a pleasant surprise this morning. I got my interview notice. August 30 2018 priority date. Haven’t gotten the letter yet. Does anyone know how far out the actual interview dates are scheduled ?

    Guys,

No news about the interview for me but I just got my EAD renewal. Thought I’d share. Based on my September 2018 PD, I have at least a few more months before the interview.

Does it take much longer to get "Interview Ready to be scheduled" if I-130, and I-485 weren't filed concurrently?. We filed I-130 in December 2018, and were only able to file I485 in June 2019 after F2A became current (fingerprints in July). Case (I130) got transferred to NBC in September 2019, and haven't had any updates after that.
    Local Office: Seattle

1 year is pretty generous. We applied on March 2018, no rfes, in less than a month we were ready to schedule for interview. Our interview took place on early September 2019...be prepared to wait at least 17 months. The reason why so many applicants from April and May got interview in the same month if because eb2 green cards were over by July and they only started processing them in October (start of the fiscal year). Basically wha ti am trying to say here is that it seems family based visas is not priority. They will only work on our cases once they have some available time. A December 2017 filer got his interview in Jan 2019. We all got excited thinking we would be around April but that didn’t happen. I didn’t find any other applicant hsving interviews since then until few folks from this thread started getting their interview invites for August and September.

I want to know that too. I’m an August 2018 filer and it’s been a real long wait. I hope our interview comes up soon.

    Hello Seattle Filers,

For those who have obtained their GCs already, I have a quick question:
Has anyone applied to a trusted traveler program like Nexus, please share your experience on getting conditional approval and the in person interview.
Any information will be gratefully appreciated.

    Cheers.

Starting October EB2 green card became current again. Which based on my experience seems that the Seattle office will not work on family based green cards for a while. Unfortunately everyone who has not received an answer will have to wait months to get some news...
