    I am new here .

    I am also a March 2019 filer.

I am petitioning my husband i485/i130/i765/i131

    Got married 12/2018
    PD 3/8/2019
    Biometrics done 4/3/2019
He is a current TPS holder which will expire 9/2019 and extended through 1/2020

Something interesting happened yesterday . We went on a mini vacation to Mexico (he has approved AP which expires 5/29/2019) last year we travelled and his passport then waswstamped "admitted through 5/29/2019" same as his AP . Yesterday his passport was stamped "admitted through 4/5/2020" I suppose CBP may see that we have a pending I765 application which was filed concurrently with I485?

If you still haven't received anything, i might as well stop hitting refresh on the USCIS status update page. lol.

I feel the same! I am just imagining how crazy I look hovering over the case tracker app, refreshing every second, and still anticipating an update. At this point any notice or update would do (did my biometrics 04/05/2019)

You will have to wait until you have a EAD in your hand before you can apply for anything like a license or ID my friend.

Personal experience. As a student, my other international student friends and myself had to use our I-20s and F1 Visa to show that we maintained a lawful residence in the country. Once, I graduated and transferred over to OPT, I could not use my NOA (receipts) as a means to show lawful residence. Therefore, I gathered that the receipts only show that its holder is being processed for said lawful residence. In our friends case, he will have to wait until his EAD is in to show that he still has lawful residence in the USA. Also, please refer to the link: https://www.dps.texas.gov/driverlice...forlicense.htm I am currently awaiting my EAD too so that I can have my license renewed.

UPDATE: You can renew your license: https://www.dps.texas.gov/DriverLice...ulPresence.pdf Just show you I-797 for pending I-485. I am sorry- I will verify with my DMV soon. Good luck.

All, I am in a strange situation, where I received the Biometric appointment letter, but did not receive the receipt notices for I-485, I-765, I-131 yet! The checks are cashed, and I get to know the Receipt number from the Biometric appointment letter!

                              Lockbox received application 03/19/2019
                              Received Biometric appointment letter: 04/11/2019

                              Question to others:
                              1. Did you receive the NOA receipt from the lockbox or NBC?
                              2. For those whose petition is employment based, does the receipt notice show priority date from your I-140 petition or is it the date of I-485 receipt in lockbox?
                              3. How important is the receipt notice -- suppose if it is lost in mail, does it affect my overall case?

                              Thanks in advance.
                              AOS timeline:
Day 0 -- Sent to USCIS
Day 1 -- Received by USCIS
Day 22 -- Received Biometrics appointment
Day 23 -- Received NOA letters
Day 30 -- Biometrics done (walkin)
