I485J filing for new job title due to promotion

I wanted to get your thoughts on whether it is advisable to file I-485J because of change in job title from Manager to Senior Manager with the same company. The job duties are same with the previous role with some additional responsibilities as well.

My immigration attorney advises that if I file I485J, USCIS might require a reinterview. I am in EB1 (India) and my priority date is Aug 2, 2017. Please advise. Thanks.

Based on my experience and if it helps others, I didn’t file I485J due to my promotion. I went with my attorney’s recommendation that filing I485J may require USCIS to process another interview. I thought it was not worth the effort as my Interview was already complete and I was waiting for my priority date to become current.
