  • Advance Payroll and EAD

    Hi

Does it is necessary to have biometrics done to get the Advance Payroll and EAD cards.

I have seen a couple of reports from people that got EAD/AP before biometrics, but most of us did the biometrics before receiving them.

I called USCIS this week, just before I got my bio appointment date, and the agent I talked to indicated that unless I have my biometrics taken by USCIS in recent times (of) which they could apply to my Advanced parole (AP) and EAD applications, I need to have my biometrics taken to enable them work on my AP and EAD.

Thank you aph I guess that's why I have only read very few posts that people received EAD/AP without biometrics first.

Agreed, biometrics are a priority. I had quite a bit of trouble with the employment authorization card myself. It took a while to have my biometrics done. Before that, payrollindex.com helped with getting the salary without breaking any laws. Honestly, it's frustrating the immense line of bureaucracy one has to go through to perform a simple task like this one. It's almost like something simply needs to be felt as very difficult as to be praised.
