when do I get the Green Card?

Hi all,

I got my processing done in July in London. But I cleared Immigration in Vancouver (Canada). But my wife and daughter arrived after me in Seattle, and they have received their physical green cards, whilst I have not.

My question is:
(1) who can I contact regarding my green card status.
Please supply a telephone number.

TSC, give them A# to get SRC# which you can use to track your plastic status. This is very difficult to do.

Another question. I have sent a G-731 to the Texas, Vermont, and Nebraska INS offices, to find out where my card is.

The weird thing is that both my wife and my daughter have already received their's...?.

Is it because I cleared Immigration in Canada, do you think that the INS office in Canada can have lost my file, if that was the case, then how did my wife and daughter get their plastic cards?.

I am totally baffled and confused. I someone knows the answer to the questions, i would sure appreicate a reply.

My POE was Vancouver BC on 5/3/01 and I received my plastic card on 11/15/01. Vancouver INS reports into Seattle INS district. Card was processed by Texas Service Center
(Vancouver and Seattle do not fall under California Service Center as some have speculated).

POE paperwork is sent in batches from Airport INS to Service Center, so it would appear to be an advantage to enter at an airport with heavy POE traffic and/or fall at the end of a batch.
