link to file reentry permit online

as a gc holder, i am in usa (nj) now
is there a link to file a reentry permit 'online'
(i navigated uscis - repeatedly, & looked into every nook & corner, but could not find the link to apply ONLINE)

please also reply to this:
-from experience, can someone tell me how long it takes to get the biometrics appointment (07094) after filing & paying the reentry permit fees.
-after getting a reentry permit, i visit the usa again -WITHIN 1 year/LESS than 2 years- of leaving. upon entry, will it make my reentry permit null & void - the *next* time i revisit.
-even if i hold a valid reentry permit, upon revisit within 2 years, i may still be denied entry - how does having a reentry permit facilitate, then
-is 'stayed over in my native country, to wind up my existing business & sell my property/investments' an acceptable reason for the immigration officer to let me in.

AFAIK you can't apply online. You need to fill and file form I-131.

From what I read:
- it could take several months to get the re-entry permit, but as a GC holder you don't have to wait for it to travel abroad. Information from newacct say that you can even ask USCIS to send it to a consulate abroad (if I recall correctly) so you can pick it up for your return.
- the document is valid for 2 years, you can use it until it expires. It is not a 1 time use document.
- they always put that information "we may still deny entry to the USA", they put that information in every visa and other documents. In very rare cases you will have trouble.
- if you return within the 2 years that reason should be enough. I bet that, even if you don't get the re-entry card but you return within 1 year, that reason should be enough.

1. Impossible to know how long biometrics will take. Generally speaking its a month from NOA1 but it all depends on how busy local office is.
2. It is a multiple entry. It expires by time. If you gone for less than a year then you do not need it - they might send you to secondary inspection when you return but there in no requirement to get one. If you are going to be gone more than a year but less than two then you need it.
3. That is generally the case in every immigration status except US citizens. The risk is very very low though.
