Hello all,
I read all the forum threads but seems like my situation is unique. I have a GC but have been out of US since June 2017. My Re-entry permit expired in July 2019 but I want to travel to US in May 2020. I have full financial ties with US, own a property which is rented, have bank accounts, credit cards, file taxes every year as a resident.
However, I do not have any genuine reason for staying out of the country for this long (actually 5 years but I returned for 2 weeks just to file my 2nd Reentry permit in 2017).
I would like to hear experiences from people who have simply tried to enter the US after more than 2 years without applying for SB-1.
For example, this guy:
Also, and sorry if this sounds harsh, but I'm not too interested in people who have never tried themselves to enter the US in this situation and who just know the law in theory very well, please note that I do too. Unless, of course, you are a lawyer and can help me with it
