  • Form i-751 expired on 12/31/2019

    Hello Guys,

I will be starting to renew my green card process soon. I just noticed form i-751 that I downloaded from USCIS is expired on 12/31/2019. I just want to make sure that people who have filed in 2020 have used this form. I don't want to run into any issues after submitting.

Also, I saw few old posts where some people have sent their package to Texas. In where to file section, I saw only one following address,

    U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

    USCIS
    P.O. Box 21200
    Phoenix, AZ 85036

    FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

    USCIS
    Attn: I-751
    1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S
    Suite 100
    Phoenix, AZ 85034

Is this where everyone is sending their package now? I am in Pennsylvania.

    Thank you!
Adjusting from H1-b, married to USC, Philadelphia, PA

I just looked at USCIS website and the I751 form version is still "expired on 12/31/2019".
      PD: 08/30/2017

11/14/2017, I-765 status was changed to "New card is being produced".
11/16/2017, I-765 status was changed to "Card was Mailed To Me".
11/18/2017, Approval notices were received in mail for I-765 and 1-131. they would be valid for one year.
      11/20/2017, Combo card was delivered.
      09/06/2018, EAD renewal was received.
      09/17/2018, Fingerprint Review was completed.
      11/19/2018, Interview was scheduled.

Expiration dates are for internal use only and don't matter to you. What matters is the edition date (which is on the lower-left corner of every page of the form). The USCIS page for a form will list what editions are currently being accepted. Sometimes multiple old editions of forms, including ones that have "expired" for many years are still accepted; and sometimes editions that have not "expired" are no longer accepted.

For I-751, only the 12/02/19 edition is currently being accepted.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

I'm starting my process also. Do you have add the things they already have. Like marriage certificate, birth certificate?

Nope I did not, I sent my package yesterday. I only included what was required in the instruction initial evidence section.
