jpecht We're curious, what do you mean you "received a 24 month GC extension a few weeks ago (after having the received the 18 month awhile ago)", did you apply for ROC and received an 18 month extension, then you got another 24 month extension? what is the difference? what is the time gap between receiving the first notice of 18 mos. extension and the 24 mos. extension? is there a different explanation in the letter?

would appreciate reading your update.

We originally got the 18 month extension shortly after filing ROC, now USCIS is sending new letters that make it a 24 month extension: https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/alert...h-pending-form

My case is still at case received. I got 18 and 24 month extension and biometrics waiver so far. I hear some people in May are getting approvals or interviews scheduled (cr1)

Our status just updated to "New Card is Being Produced" - so I guess we were approved. I am a WAC filer, NOA June 11, 2021. It appears our interview was waived. Glad this appears to be over. Next stop, citizenship in a few months. Good luck to everyone else waiting.

Congrats. We are also WAC filers and a few month after you (Sept). Hopefully we get an update in a few months.

I'm a June filer here, too and heard back for an RFE. Has anyone received an RFE asking about "Name Change"? I asked to change my last name on my marriage license but my plan was to take the steps once all my paperwork was settled to avoid the confusion with my maiden name being on all the supporting documentation. But the RFE says that my marriage license asked to change my name but that my maiden name is on the application. Basically asking me to prove that my maiden name is my legal name (which I guess it's not...but I didn't realize that it was already in effect). Can I just confirm to them that I didn't realize that my legal name is my husband's last name and that it's fine by me to update the application to be under my husband's last name?

hello everyone. Any updates on I-751 (Texas processing center) for those who filed in around or close to June 2021? My application should meet 11 months in a day or two.

My timeline so far:

06/17/2021: USCIS received completed I-751 application with evidence
06/25/2021: received the 18 months extension notice no new updates nor new notices since then.
09/16/2021: called USCIS and opened an inquiry regarding my biometrics as because there no notice about the appointment being waived nor required.
09/22/2021: received email from USCIS to inform me that they sent me a notice for biometrics appointment.
10/13/2021: attended my biometrics appointment.
11/24/2021: received extension for 24 months.
Case status on USCIS: “Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken”

no updates since then

in a day or two, my case will meet the day on the processing times page.

Anyone has similar events through the process?

I am also a June filer to Texas Processing Center (case received on June 22). The online status is still 'case received'. My biometrics appt was waived. It seems that Texas Center is really behind, as they are still processing April and May cases.
