We mailed my wife's package on 9/10 and 24 months extension came one week later. Ours is WAC center (California service center). Wish you the best.

My lawyer contact me and actually my documents was received by USCIS on Sep 10th. But is was send to LIN (Nebraska), which seems has the longest processing time. I am located in WA, I am wondering how they decide which field office to send to? Will it because I used lawyer so it was sent to LIN?

I believe your application should be sent to Arizona not Nebraska. Confirm with your lawyer that it was sent to the right address

I believe your application should be sent to Arizona not Nebraska. Confirm with your lawyer that it was sent to the right address

I think what the poster meant was that he/she got the receipt number LIN which means his/her case was being processed at Nebraska.

You may get WAC (California Service Center). We live in S. California and ours is WAC.

Does anyone know what the processing time at EAC/Vermont is like?

Edit: I looked it up - it’s 9.5 to 14.5 months. Compared to other centers it’s shorter, but wow. Hope our case gets processed sooner. I’m just grateful they gave me a 24-month extension at this point.

Wow! May I ask the reason for the 24month extension instead of 18?

They changed it for everyone to 24 months and it was recently implemented - 1st week of September I think. I think it’s because everything is super delayed right now due to COVID.

Hi all,

My I-751 application got received by the USCIS on Thursday, 9/23 per UPS.

My credit card got charged Friday, 9/24.

Received text with case number today Saturday, 9/25.

Looks like I got assigned to the Vermont Center.
