First part;
Please answer these;
1.Is there any annotation(note) on your visa?
2.When was that visa issued and did you travel on it for the purpose it was issued?

2nd part;
Yes, it is possible to change from B1 to H-1 provided you can find an employer who will get you an approved H-1 petition.

i have to check the passport properly but there isn't any annotation as far as i know.

it was issued on 11th dec. and i have not yet gone for the purpose for which it is issued but can i combined the purpose like visiting my sister as well as going for the company work.

is it possible.

Yes you can. You will be asked for the purpose of the visit at entry and you will have to tell them the business purpose so they will stamp your I-94
card with B1 classification.
